On Christmas Eve, the Haxton family was in a car accident driving to visit Grandmom. Paul, the father and husband was killed, and Trina, the children’s mom, sustained severe spinal chord injuries. Lyndsey (6) and Hayley (4) are fine and staying with Grandmom. Trina is in critical condition and is facing a lifetime of staggering medical bills. During the Golden Week holidays in Japan, May 1st-5th, myself and two other friends went up to Tohoku to INDEPENDENTLY help those affected by the March 11th Earthquake and Tsunami that struck Japan. We met up with my good friend Dean Newcombe www.intrepidmodeladventures.com who has been in the Tohoku region for about a month helping in an area that supposedly had too many volunteers during Golden Week. Well after watching this video of a disaster that happened over 2 months ago, I think you will agree that there are not enough volunteers.
